Broco, Inc. is the world leader in exothermic cutting and underwater welding systems and related technology. Broco's core product lines include gaseous oxygen cutting systems used both underwater and on land, underwater and portable welding systems and specialty metal alloys. Our products are used daily for repair and maintenance jobs around the globe. In 2001 Broco systems were used to aid the Russian submarine KURSK recovery effort and rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center in the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11.

We are committed to finding new and better solutions to meet our customers' needs through ongoing research and development programs. In 2002, Broco introduced GOWELD?, the first battery-powered portable welder with an on-board computer. It immediately captured several international design awards and a position on-board the United States Marine Corps' M-88A2 Hercules Recovery Variant (tank recovery vehicle). Broco Underwater also has introduced third party testing and certification of Softouch? underwater welding electrodes using actual in-water, at depth, welds.
